Experimental Techniques to Combat Violence in Offense-Focused Work


Dr Kerry Beckley is Registered Practitioner Psychologist (Clinical and Forensic), Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society (AFBPS) and the current Chair for the Faculty of Forensic Clinical Psychology.    Whilst at Rampton High Secure Hospital, she developed the Schema Therapy Programme for men with a diagnosis of personality disorder.   She was previously currently the Project Lead for the Personality Disorder Offender Pathway Project in Lincolnshire and was previously seconded part time to the Safer Communities Partnership in Lincolnshire to develop a strategy for supporting and treating perpetrators of domestic abuse. Kerry now runs her own company providing expert witness reports and training and supervision in both individual and group schema therapy.  Kerry is an Accredited Schema Trainer/Supervisor in Individual and Group Schema Therapy and am a full member of the International Society of Schema Therapy (ISST). She is the current chair of the Group Schema Therapy Training Committee (ISST) and the Board Elections Committee.  She has published and presented on schema therapy for many years both nationally and internationally.
